A former Naples resident received four years in prison on charges of running an investment scam

A southwest Florida man will spend time in prison for his role in a scam where he targeted an elderly couple.

Konstantinos Konstantinou was given a sentence of four years in prison 16th after pleading guilty.

He'll also have to repay more than $707,000 in damages to the people he's harmed and serve 25 years of probation time.

The office of Financial Regulation has concluded an investigation on the case and announced the result in a news release.
